Lesson Instructions

Phone.pngGRAMMAR

Introduction

Yesterday, we met the preposition and learned that prepositions often answer the questions "where?" and "when?"

The "where?" question is also called Prepositions of Space or Location. They help us understand where an object is located in a space.

Is the book under the table? No.

Is the book on the table? Yes

The words "under" and "on" are both prepositions! They help us understand the location of the book in relation to the table.

Stop and Jot

In Your Notebook: Read for 30 minutes from a fiction book. Now think, how would the story be different if the story was written in a different point of view? Maybe if it was written in another character's point of view? Write down your thinking.
