Lesson Instructions

You will go through two lessons (one in grammar and one in reading).

Phone.pngGRAMMAR

Introduction

When we write, we have the power to show tone and feeling! One way to do this is through punctuation. We need to make sure that we are using the right punctuation, or our writing may be misinterpreted.

Today, we will be learning about the function of the question mark and exclamation mark in text.

period - used at the end of a sentence
commas - marks a pause during a sentence
question mark - used at the end of a question
exclamation mark - used for expression when making a declaration
Examples: Will my order be ready by Friday?

He asked, “How old are you?”

Stop interrupting me!

I need your help! Now!
