Pronouns

Introduction

We've reviewed and learned quite a bit about nouns! We have learned that nouns are people, places things, and ideas. We have learned the difference between common and proper nouns as well as abstract vs. concrete nouns. We have discussed the rules of making nouns plural. We have also learned how to show possession when it comes to nouns. 

Today, we will be learning what happens when we replace nouns in a sentence with a pronoun!

Main Idea

Introduction

We began our study into the main idea this week! We will continue to work on this idea for the next few lessons.

Main ideas should encompass everything that the text is about, but isn't too broad.

Today, we will be reading a text about George Washington. Think about the text and what the main idea could be!
