Nouns

Introduction

Hi Grammarians! Today, we will be learning about singular vs. plural nouns!

A noun can be a person, place, thing, or idea. If you have one of the items, the noun is called a singular noun, like the word "sister." If you have more than one, you have plural like "sisters."

Sometimes, changing singular nouns to plural nouns in English can change based upon the word and what it looks like! There are 8 rules to follow for changing singular to plural. Today, we will learn the first four.

Introduction

Hi writers! You began writing your essays! Yay! Today we will look at the rubric that we will use to grade your essay.

We want to make sure that we are following the framework so that our ideas are well organized and thought out. Having a rubric helps us have a checklist to remind us what we are required to accomplish.

Take a look at the rubric video below. As you write, check off to make sure you are following the guidelines provided.
