Introduction
Time Travelers! Isn’t it amazing to think - just by acquiring the Louisiana Territory, the United States doubled its size? Today you will begin researching the expedition of the explorers that first journeyed to Louisiana, Lewis and Clark. The following video retells Captain William Clark’s and Captain Meriwether Lewis’ journal entries from May 14-24, 1804, which include the men’s thoughts as they set out on their expedition to explore the North American West.
