🟩 Economic Decisions Day 163
Economic Decisions - Day 163
Introduction
Now that you have the vocabulary that you need, and you have looked at the historical context of economics, let’s jump forward in time… no time is as valuable as the present! More than likely, you don’t spend a lot of time analyzing personal spending and saving, because you are not yet old enough to work. So today, we will look to the grown-ups in our lives for guidance in our learning.
Economic Interview
Today, you will have the opportunity to interview an adult. (Make sure the adult you choose is someone that receives, or has received an income. ) Use the following questions in your interview, and write down their answers in your journal. Sometimes money can be a difficult conversation, so ask these questions in a general way. You will use these responses for a discussion post tomorrow.
Interview Questions:
- Do you use a personal budget to help guide your economic decisions?
- What can you tell me about income?
- What is your greatest expenditure?
- What lessons have you learned about spending and saving?
