🔺 Reconstruction in Politics Day 121
Reconstruction in Politics - Day 121
Introduction
In the last module, we learned about the conflicts that caused change in America, people that fought for social change, and how America battled within itself to reestablish one nation. After the Civil War, the South went through a period of Reconstruction. As we have learned, the South was destroyed, and left without leadership. Additionally, people that had been enslaved were now free in a world that they had never been able to be a part of before. In this module we will learn about the political, economic, and societal changes that took place after the Civil War in a time that is referred to as Reconstruction.
