Today, you will research the first two events listed. Follow the example given to you with Ft. Sumter.

Today, complete the research for the first two events:

  • The Emancipation Proclamation

  • The Battle of Gettysburg

  • Use the documents linked in the introduction to guide your research.  It will make a copy of the document.  Up in the left corner, name the document: Your name’s Events of the Civil War Research

  • Be sure to use a safe search engine.

  • Focus on why this event was important to the Civil War.

  • You will use this document for two days.
