Territorial Expansion - Day 81

Territorial Expansion - Day 81

Introduction

Beginning in the 1840’s, thousands of pioneers began moving west to the Oregon Territory in search of better opportunities. This was not an easy voyage. People had to travel by wagons that were pulled by oxen, they faced indian attacks, accidents, and diseases along the trail. Many that started the journey did not make it to their destination. Today, we will begin researching the Oregon Trail.
