Introduction
Yesterday, we learned about two powerful chiefs and how they fought to protect their native land. Unfortunately, despite these and many other efforts, the Native Americans were eventually overpowered by the American settlers. Today we will learn about one of the laws that President Jackson made to force Native Americans to leave their lands and relocate.
