Introduction

In your last investigation, you learned why Congress declared war against Great Britain on June 18, 1812. Today, we will begin investigating the timeline of events that occurred during the War of 1812. We will use the historical timeline we created on day 4. We will work on this for three days and share it at the end.

  1. Look back at the historical timeline you created in your journal on Day 4. Forgotten about the historical timeline? No sweat! View the video below.
  2. Add descriptions to the following dates:
    • June 18, 1812
    • August 19, 1812
    • September 10, 1813
  3. Be sure to use a safe search engine and focus only on descriptions that relate to the War of 1812.
