The War of 1812 - Day 46
The War of 1812 - Day 46
Introduction
In the last module, we learned about how influential leaders fought for changes in policies, and how they established a new set of rules for newly independent America. You would think that after all the conflict and fighting, and with a new set of rules, America would be at peace for a while. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In this module we will learn about the War of 1812: what caused it, the major events of the war, and the effects of the war on America, and also what happened when Americans began moving westward into new territories. Let’s start by looking at a video. While you watch the video, use your journal and write down what you think, what you wonder, and what you notice about the information presented.
