Introduction

Now that you know who the key players were at the Constitutional Convention, it’s time to learn what they accomplished. There were many areas in our new government that needed changes.  Over the next 2 days, you will be using the document, linked in the assignment on the next page, to investigate, and research some of the changes (or new policies) that were accomplished at the Constitutional Convention. As you work, be sure to notice what changes were made. Today, you will research the first three accomplishments on the document.

  • Great Compromise

  • Three Fifths Compromise

  • The Issue of Slavery

    • Use the Google Document linked in the assignment on the next page to guide your research.  It will make a copy of the document.  Up in the left corner, name the document: Your name’s Accomplishments Research
    • Use the Google Document linked HERE to guide your research

    • Be sure to use a safe search engine.

    • Type a description for each and be sure to include what was changed.

    • You will use this document over the next 2 days.
