Introduction

Have you heard the sound of musical instruments? Did they all sound the same?

Sound is an amazing scientific phenomenon that you will get to explore in this module.

Before we begin exploring, let’s take some time to observe the phenomenon of sound in action.


Watch This! The "Sound" of Music

Directions:

  • Grab your Science Journal and pencil.

  • Click on the link to view the phenomenon and pay careful attention to what you see, what you are thinking, and what you are wondering.

  • Write your observations in your Science Journal. Observe the phenomenon multiple times if necessary.
