Now that you know the reason living things “eat” is to obtain energy, let’s explore in greater detail the sources from which living things get their energy.

Living things interact in a community called an ECOSYSTEM. In this lesson, you will learn about food chains and 3 very important members of an ecosystem: producers, consumers, and decomposers.
