Investigate: The Flow of Energy - Day 14

Introduction

In previous lessons, you reviewed to make sure your brain remembered the science of heat energy. You were reminded that all things are made of matter and that all matter can be found in 1 of 3 different forms, or “states”: solids, liquids, and gasses.

In your experience, I am sure you are aware that water can be either a solid, a liquid, or a gas and that water can change states 

In this lesson, you will investigate to gain a deeper understanding of HOW water moves through the water cycle. You will make connections between heat energy and water’s changes as it moves through the water cycle.

Let’s begin with what happens when water changes from a liquid to a gas.
