Introduction

As you observe, you will complete a “see, think, wonder” activity and then share with others in a discussion post.

Activity: I See the Moon Discussion Post

This discussion post is an opportunity for you to share your ideas, but also to hear and consider the ideas of others. You will also have an opportunity to share what you are wondering about.

Remember… it does not matter if your ideas are 100% correct because we are launching our learning! Ideas can grow and change as new information is gathered.

Directions:

To complete this Discovery Discussion you must…

 

1. Write 2-3 sentences explaining what you think you saw and thought about as you observed the images of the moon. (Ex: “I saw _____. It made me think that _____.”)
2. Write 2-3 sentences sharing your main wonderings about your observations.
3. Read others’ posts about their observations and wonderings.
4. Comment on a friend’s post who had ideas similar to yours.
5. Comment on a friend’s post who had ideas different than yours.
