Introduction

Now it’s time for your final task! In this task you will be creating a weather forecast using the forecast map you completed in lesson 5.

Grab your completed “My Weather Forecast” map from the “Meteorologist for a Moment” lesson. You will use it in this final task.

Directions:

  • Using your created map, write a short script that you will use during a “live” weather forecast in flip. This script must:

    • explain the upcoming weather

    • included scientific principles learned about in this module (patterns, tools, map symbols & meanings)  that support your forecast

    • be fun and engaging

  • Record your 5-minute forecast using the flip linked on the next page.
