Investigate: Weather Patterns - Day 5
Introduction
In the last lesson, you investigated different types of clouds. You used your observational skills to determine the characteristics of cirrus, stratus, and cumulus clouds.
You also began making observations of cloud patterns in your community and collecting data on your own “Cloud Observation Chart”. Keep collecting that data! You will be discussing your data with other weather scientists in a future lesson.
In this lesson, you will learn the difference between weather and climate. You will learn about the tools meteorologists use to collect weather data over time and you will begin investigating weather patterns in your community.
Let’s get started!
