🔵 Place Value Relationships Day 4

Place Value Relationships

Introduction

Hello Marvelous Mathematicians! Today we are going to further connect our understanding of multiplicative comparison and our base ten number system. We know that as we bundle each new group of ten, we are building on another place in our place value system.  Yesterday we explored how ten ones bundled creates one ten.  How ten tens bundled together creates one hundred and so on for each place in our base ten number system.  Today, we will be able to recognize the relationships between digit values on a place value chart and describe them using multiplicative comparisons.
