🔵 Rounding Multi-Digit Numbers Day 22

Rounding Multi-Digit Numbers

Introduction

Welcome back Magnificent Mathematicians! Yesterday, we spent time identifying the benchmarks on a number line that would help us to place specific numbers on a number line.  In order to build off of that, today we are going to use that same number line to round numbers to a given place.   We do that by determining which benchmark number our number is closest to.  As you move through this lesson, remember to effectively use your number line by determining your benchmarks and midpoint, placing the number in an approximate place on the number line, and determining where the number is closest.  Good Luck Mathematicians!
