Lesson 11-- Fractions Equivalent to One Half

Introduction

Hello Mathematicians! Today we will be learning about fractions equivalent to one half.  Remember, equivalent fractions are two fractions that represent the same part of a whole, but look different (different numerators and denominators).

Take a look at these equivalent fractions:

3/6 2/4 1/2 4/8

What pattern do you notice?  Jot down your thoughts in your math notebook.
