Introduction

Hello Mathematicians! Today we will think about math stories in our world.  One way we use math in our lives is budgets.

Mrs. David has $20 to buy indoor recess supplies. The store has several items available that would make for fun indoor recess activities. Take a look at the following image. 

What do you notice?  What do you wonder?  Jot down your thoughts in your math notebook.

Now, what math questions can you ask about this situation? Answer all the questions you can!
