Introduction

Hello Mathematicians! Today we will look at balancing equations.

Take a look at this scale.  On one side, there are 2 squares that weigh 3 pounds each and 1 triangle that equals 5 pounds.  On the other side, there is a circle that weighs 2 pounds.  What do you notice?  Can you think of a way to balance the scale?  Write your ideas in your math notebook.
