Introduction
Hello Mathematicians! Yesterday we worked on using models to solve addition problems. Today we will work on another strategy to solve addition problems: number lines.

Let’s get out our math journals and work through the following application problem. Make sure yo; read the problem carefully, draw a picture to match your thinking and write and solve an equation. Make sure to find an exact answer when there is not a clue that tells you to estimate.
