There were 24 kids in the room. If the teacher wanted them to sit with 4 kids at each table, then how many tables would the teacher need?

  • Draw a bar model to help you solve the following story problems. 

    • There are 3 chicken coops with 4 chickens in each coop. How many chickens are there?

    • There are 15 pigs.  There are 3 pigs in each pen. How many pens are there?

    • There are 60 cows in the fields.  There are 6 fields.  How many cows are in each field?
