Shape Poem
Begin creating your shape poem in your writing journal. You can choose to use your paragraph about your favorite part or you can use the paragraph to create a poem. You may also choose to use your favorite body part as the shape (ex: hand, foot or eye) or you may choose an object that goes with that body part (ex: foot- soccer ball, hand- piano, eye- television). Use the example to help you begin to plan and write your shape poem.
