Hello Second Graders!

Now that you have learned about plant life cycles and completed an informational writing piece, it is time to look at a different kind of writing. Today we are going to revisit fables and folktales. You learned about fables and folktales in the first quarter. This week you will study a story about a plant that grew from magic seeds, then you will begin to create your own story about magic seeds. 

Let’s start by reviewing fables and folktales, then complete an activity about what fables include. 

 You will also review some familiar grammar skills this week. You will review nouns and pronouns.
