 Introduction

Hello Second Graders!

Let’s get started persuading. Yesterday, you began to plan your persuasive writing. You wrote your introduction, reasons and your conclusions. You will use the graphic organizer today to begin your writing piece in your writing journal. 

Like opinion writing, when writing a persuasive piece, you need to include an introduction hook and transition words. Review some of the introductions and transition words you have learned about this year. Also, explore the persuasive writing piece and the different parts of the writing piece.
