 Introduction

Hello Second Graders!

Last week we reviewed nouns and pronouns. We learned that a person, place, or thing is a noun. A pronoun is a word that you can use in place of a noun. This week you will review common nouns, proper nouns, and collective nouns. Think about the nouns that you are using in your writing. You will use these nouns to make a list of common nouns, proper nouns and collective nouns. 

You will also continue working through the writing process and complete your rough draft in your writing journal.
