Hello Second Graders!

You have made it to the fourth quarter of writing. You have now covered the three genres of writing; narrative, informational, and opinion writing. This quarter you will review each genre, write a narrative story, do some research to write an informational piece, and complete a persuasive opinion writing. You will also have the opportunity to complete a writing of your choice. 

Let’s start with reviewing informational writing. You will review facts and opinions and then begin your research. You will research and gather information about different animal life cycles. You have learned about animal life cycles in your science course. You will use this information to create your own informational writing and presentation.
