 Introduction

Hello Second Graders!

You should have most of your opinion writing completed. Today, we will learn how to end your opinion writing. You will end your opinion writing by stating your opinion again. It can be stated in a different way or in a way similar to your starting sentence. The way you feel about the topic should be the last thing your readers read. Today, you will finish your Would You Rather writing and presentation. You will use the writing checklist to edit, revise and make sure your writing is ready for publication.

Would You Rather?

 Today, you will add your conclusion to your writing. Your conclusion should restate your opinion. Tell the reader your feelings about the topic again. 

• Locate your Google Drive and find the presentation titled "Would You Rather." 
• Add your conclusion to the slides in your presentation. 
• Use the writing checklist to revise and edit your writing on each slide.  Click here for a copy of the Opinion Writing Checklist Download Opinion Writing Checklist.
• The last slide in your presentation should be your whole story typed together. Your reader should be able to read your starting sentence, reasons, and conclusion in order on the last slide.
