Yesterday, you began the prewriting and planning stage of your how-to writing. Today, you will continue writing the steps of your procedural writing. Think about what you need to complete the task, what order do you need to do things and what will occur once it is complete. 

You will also begin to look at some common spelling patterns and build words with those patterns. These are patterns that occur in words that you use in your writing.
