Writing Fables on Your Own

 

Introduction

 

Today, you will begin writing your fable in your writing journal. Use your graphic organizers to help you as you write. 

Get out your writing journal and graphic organizers that you completed in the last two lessons. Use the graphic organizers and your brainstorming ideas to help you organize your ideas and begin to write your fable. You will work on your fable throughout the week and submit it at the end of the module.

Now it's your turn!

Begin writing your fable in your writing journal. Think about how the characters will be introduced, what the moral of the story is, and what will occur to make them learn the lesson. You will finish your rough draft of the fable in the next lesson and review your writing with the writing checklist.
