This week you will write a fictional story about an animal. Think about your favorite animal or an animal you know a lot about. If you are not sure what animal that is, spend some time researching an animal to learn more about them. It will be helpful to know where the animal lives, what the animal eats and how the animal moves.

Animal Stories Graphic Organizer

Complete the first graphic organizer about your animal of choice. It is important to plan your story and gather ideas before you begin your writing. Think about what your animal is going to do in the story. Where will your animal live? What other characters will be in your story? This is a fictional story: your animals can talk, live in a house and have other human characteristics.
