Hi Second Grade History Explorers!

For this module, we’ve been learning about famous Georgians who changed history in our state and beyond. This week we’re talking about the famous minister and Civil Rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. You’ve already learned a lot about him! Today we’ll take a video tour of Dr. King’s boyhood home, now part of the National Parks Service. Then you’ll get to have a little fun reviewing vocabulary from our study of him. 

Today you will need to do the following steps in order to complete the assignment:

  1. Watch the video tour of Dr. King’s boyhood home.
  2. Complete the word find of vocabulary words from our study of Dr. King.
