Introduction

Where in Georgia?

Hello  Students, I am excited to go with you on your journey through Georgia.  For the next few weeks, we will be traveling through the different parts of Georgia.  We will get to experience how the parts, or what we will start calling them regions, compare to one another.  We will take time to notice the topographical features, interesting places, along with some unique facts about each region.  Today will be the introduction, it will get you thinking about what you know about Georgia.

 Students Will:  

• Look at pictures and use them to decide what they know about the different regions of Georgia
• Use the maps to justify where they think the pictures were taken in Georgia
