Meet the Mayor 

Hi Students! Today students will continue to define the concept of government by being able to identify the elected officials of the executive branch and where they work.  We have talked about the President, Governor, and today we will finish with our local government- Mayors!

Students will:

• Read an article about our local city governments.  Paying close attention to how the roles differ between the President, Governor, and Mayor.
• The student will complete a graphic organizer explaining all three roles.
