What Makes a Good Leader?

 

Hi Learning Community! 

Today we are going to learn about a lady who was not an elected official but used her leadership qualities to do wonderful things, not just for her local community, but the entire United States of America.  Today, while you are learning all about Juliette Gordon Low, think about what it means to be a good leader.

Students will:

  • Read the slideshow about Juliette Gordon Low.  Paying close attention to leadership characteristics.
  • Students will create a Venn Diagram comparing Juliette Gordon Low to someone else they know to be a leader.  
  • Students will look at the characteristics that were the same and will prioritize them into what is most important for a leader to reflect.
