Life Cycle of Mammals

In your science journal: Make a list of as many mammals as you can think of. Remember, mammals are animals that have live births, have hair or fur, and drink milk from their mothers.

When you finish your list, try to think of what each baby animal of that species is called. If you know what the baby animal is called, write it next to the animal.

For example:

• Horse - foal
• Human - baby or infant
• Cat - kitten
