Introduction

 

You did a great job taking the pictures and grouping them according to how the moon looks.  That lesson taught us that the moon changes and looks different.  Our job is to dig deeper and understand why.  I am sure you already have some questions and thoughts as to why that is.  Today will help you clarify some of those thoughts.  Hang tight, because today you will be learning all about “The Moon”.   

Students Will:

• Gain a deeper understanding about the Moon through a video.
• Will demonstrate the difference between the dark/light side of the moon and why that even matters to us.

Students for this video, you will want to take some notes in your Science notebook.  Pay close attention to what you learn about the dark/light side of the Moon and how that affects us.
