🔵 Lesson 5: Shadow Lab
Sun and Moon Patterns
Shadow Lab
Yay!!! You’re back again to talk about shadows. I hope you had a great time doing your activity yesterday! It is so fun to watch your own shadow move and change. Put that with what we have already learned about the length of days per month and you are now starting to put together how all these patterns give us our days, nights and seasons. Today, we are going to specifically focus on the part of the standard where you have to create your own structure that demonstrates how shadows change throughout the day. Have fun, I can’t wait to see them.
Students Will:
- Watch and review a review video about shadows.
- Design and create a lab that will show shadows changing throughout the day.
- Record what they do on Flip.
Start with this quick review video before you start designing your own lab. This video will give you an idea of how you can still do this lab if it is not a sunny day today.
