Introduction
Hi, Scientist!
Today we are going to start our exploration of all the wonders that are beyond our Earth. We will take some time to travel through space and learn about the Sun, Moon, and Stars. This week we will focus on stars.
Students Will:
- Go through the presentation “Stars in our Sky”.
- We will work on a review activity.
- Start a week long observation of stars.

Assignment
Night Sky Observations
In Your Journal: You will observe the night sky and record what you see.
You can take a picture each night with your phone or camera and then on a piece of paper write down observations. For example- I see a bright star in the top right corner of the picture. I see a group of small stars in the middle. Just make sure you go out at the same time each night and stand facing the same direction. Save your observations because you will be doing this multiple nights so you can compare.
