Welcome readers! This week we will read books and poems. We will work to identify words that appeal to our senses and words that describe the feelings of the characters. Before you begin your work, review our anchor chart. Ready? Set. Go!

Icon Assignment Activity

Today you will use our graphic organizer to complete your assignment. Take a moment to think about the story we shared today. If you need to reread the story, please replay the video and take notes as you listen to the story being read aloud. Next, you will use the graphic organizer to identify words and phrases that appeal to your five senses. Remember not all senses may be represented in the text that we shared. If you identify words that suggest feelings, there is a text box provided for those terms.
