Now that you have reviewed your anchor chart its your turn to show what you have learned this school year. Today you will read “The Red Hen”. Record your reading for your teacher. After reading, you will ask and answer questions about the text that you read.

Red Hen Ted has a pet hen, the hen lives in a pen. the red hen has an egg. the egg is big. the hen sits on the egg. the hen likes the egg. the red hen gets in a fit and she falls off her egg. the red hen has a bad leg. ted calls the vet for the red hen. the vet can fix the red hen's leg. the hen feels well.
