Now that you have reviewed your anchor chart it's your turn to show what you have learned this school year. Today you will read “The Pig” . Record your reading for your teacher. After reading, you will ask and answer questions about the text that you read.

The Pig

Bill is a kid. he is six. bill has a big pig. he likes his big pig. bill likes to sit with his pig and his friend Sid. bill and Sid play with the big pig in a pit.

bill, sid, and the big pig like to dig and dig. the dig in a pit. the pig falls into the pit. Oh no! Bill and Sid zip in the pit for the pig. Bill and Sid see the wig! the wig is big. bill and Sid put the wig on the big pig.
