Reading Day 3: Compare and Contrast the experiences of characters

Introduction

Welcome readers! As readers, we can compare and contrast the experiences of the characters. We talk about how their experiences are the same (compare) and different (contrast). Today we will read a new fiction text about an insect and its problem. After reading you will work to identify the problem and solution of the text.

Activity

Think about the main character in the story. Think about the experiences/challenges/problem that the main character faces. Next, you will identify the problem and the solution of the story. You will need this for our work on day four.
