Reading Day 1: Compare and Contrast the experiences of characters

Introduction

Welcome to a new week of reading! This week we will read fiction stories. Most fiction stories have characters, a setting, a problem, and a solution. The problem and solution of the story are the experiences the characters have. The experiences, of the characters in the story, can be different for each of the characters. Some characters may feel excited and other characters could feel frustrated.  The experiences of characters can vary from story to story.

Think about the main character in the story. Think about the experiences/challenges/problem that the main character faces. Next, you will identify the problem and the solution of the story you will need this for our work on day 2.
