Phonics Day 3: Long e

 

Introduction

Hi, First Grade dinos. Today we will play a long e sound stomp, change the ending sounds of words to create new words, read long e words, and read decodable stories. I am going to say some words. If you hear a  long e  in that word, I want you to stomp. If you hear another sound, you do nothing.   Remember long e says its name.
