Writing Day 3: Researching Your Topic Pt. 1

Introduction

Welcome back writers. Today we will be starting our research! We need to make sure we think about how we want our research to be organized and what we already know about the animal we are researching! Let’s get started.

In your writing journal: 

Create a KWL chart for the animal you have chosen. What do you already know? What do you want to know (your plan) and then what you learned (your research). Remember to check with your teacher before researching online!
